Find friends faster with Quickfilter.
Allocate a Speed-Dial number to any contact.
Redial previous numbers at the click of a button.
Quickfilter
Quickfilter is a great way to find Skype contacts, recent chats and SkypeOut contacts quickly and easily. Simply type in the first few letters of a contact’s name or recent IM chat subject and Skype will filter out all contacts and chats that match the filter.
You don’t need to have your friends on your contact list to be able to call them. Just type your friend's Skype Name into the textbox on the bottom of the window and press enter or click the green Call button.
You can also use this textbox to enter a phone or mobile number and make a call using SkypeOut™.
Speed-Dial
Allocate Speed-Dial numbers to your contacts, just like you can on phones and cell phones. This is like a shortcut to your friend’s actual phone number, so it’s all you ever need to type in to call them. Nice and simple!
It’s easy to set up. Just right click on a contact and select Set Speed-Dial. A window will open prompting you to allocate a number for the contact. Once the number is set just type it into the Quickfilter and press the call button to start calling your contact straight away.
Recently dialled numbers
It’s now even easier to call the contacts you speak to most often. The Quickfilter has an arrow to the right of it. When you click on it, it will show you all your recently dialled numbers. Click on the number you wish to call and it will open that contact’s card ready for you to press the green call button and start talking.
